Why did I decide to work with GLP-1

Welcome back to my blog.

In this one, I wanted to cover the topic of GLP-1’s.

In recent years, there’s been a lot of buzz around GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Semiglutide, Tirzepetide,etc..) Whether you’ve seen discussions in the media or among friends, it’s clear these treatments are becoming a common part of the weight management conversation. But with so much conflicting information out there, it can be hard to separate facts from myths.

I decided to focus on GLP-1 medications for several reasons. First, these peptides aren’t new—they’ve been on the market for some time, and when used appropriately, especially in micro doses, they can offer incredible benefits. But more importantly, I recognized a need — there will always be people who need or choose to use GLP-1 medications, and they deserve compassionate, evidence-based guidance on how to integrate them into a healthy lifestyle.

Unfortunately, (and I admit at one point, I was guilty of this) there’s a lot of fear mongering and even shaming surrounding GLP-1 use. My goal is to replace that negativity with understanding. These medications are not a one-size-fits-all solution, but when combined with proper nutrition, movement, and mindset work, they can be a powerful tool for improving overall health.
